Zanza sought to destroy Mechonis entirely to absorb the souls of its inhabitants, believing unity under his rule was the only path. However, his plan relied on a prophecy he himself authored, manipulating events from behind the scenes through his chosen vessel and the Monado blade. The cycle was finally broken when Shulk, wielding the power of the true Monado (Monado III), rejected Zanza's design and chose to create a new world without gods, defeating Zanza and causing his essence to dissipate, ending the eternal loop.

Before you stands the entrance to the god's mind, a vast cavern where gravity seems to bow before the sheer weight of consciousness.
